What shipped

August 2026

Two brand-new modules landed this month. Storage and slip management gives marine and RV dealers a way to track where every unit is parked and bill that space automatically, and our new electronic signature platform lets customers sign a quote from their phone. We also shipped native push notifications, remote payment method requests, and two new integrations — AppOne for F&I and Forest River for OEM reporting.

  • Storage & slip management – Map every area you store units in: buildings, lots, docks, dry stacks and campgrounds — with per-spot size, hookups, cover and out-of-service status. Create spots one at a time, in numbered ranges, or by Excel import, then assign a customer’s unit to a spot, transfer it between spots, or end the assignment with full history retained. An occupancy dashboard rolls it up by area, and storage details show on the customer page, the unit page and work orders. Note – this is in beta testing with a few select dealerships but it is live!
  • Storage agreements & automatic billing – Put a space under contract with a term (month-to-month, fixed or seasonal), a reusable rate plan and a deposit, then let DealerRock bill it. Recurring storage invoices are ordinary register transactions, not a side ledger, and the billing engine handles proration, stub periods and month-end anchors without ever double-billing a period.
  • Electronic signatures – Send a quote out for signature and your customer opens a secure link on their phone, verifies with a texted passcode, reviews the document, adopts a typed or drawn signature and signs. You get back an executed PDF with an audit certificate page, and the salesperson can countersign so the quote goes out already accepted by the dealership.
  • Signature status where you work – A status line on the quote, Send for Signature in the quote actions menu, a color-coded indicator on the quote grid, and void, resend or retry from a single modal — plus a notification the moment a customer finishes signing.
  • Push notifications on your phone – Add DealerRock to your home screen, turn notifications on under Account → Manage, and every notification that shows in the bell also arrives as a native alert on iPhone, Android or desktop, even when the app is closed.
  • Request a payment method on file – Ask a customer to put a card or bank account on file remotely. They get a secure link by email or text, read your authorization wording, enter the method and sign. Nothing is charged, you get a signed PDF authorization for the file, and the paper credit card authorization form goes away.
  • AppOne integration – Send a deal to AppOne as a credit application right from Step 3, and lender decisions, selected terms and the funded reserve come back on their own. Connect each store with a Lot ID that’s verified live before it saves.
  • Forest River integration – Current inventory and sold unit feeds that Forest River pulls directly from DealerRock, switched on per company and per store.
  • Automatic invoice reminders – Outstanding “send as invoice” transactions now get follow-up reminders by email or text on a schedule you set, sent the same way the original went out, with a record of every reminder on the transaction.
  • Split commissions – Record a second commission on a deal, to another salesperson or to a free-text outside party such as a co-broker, as a flat amount or a percentage of profit. Both shares are fully attributed in unit sales and revenue projection reporting, including the Excel exports.
  • New-deal notifications & duplicate lead warnings – Salespeople can now be notified by push and email when a deal is created, opt-in per deal. Incoming web leads are checked against active leads by email and then phone, so a duplicate surfaces as a warning banner instead of quietly becoming a second lead.
  • Selling two units together – Support for selling a pair of PWC units on a single trailer as one deal.
  • Factory colors & swatches – Model data now pulls from Lead Venture, colors carry visible swatches mapped to sections of the unit, and the selected colors follow through to units, quotes and printed receipts. Colors and specs are editable.
  • Better build sheets & quotes – A new MSRP-only window sticker mode, a Pricing to show dropdown replacing the old Hide MSRP checkbox, an F / D column marking each option factory or dealer installed, and a store setting to prepend an option’s category to its name.
  • Unread messages & a new lead source – An All / Unread toggle on the messaging grid so you can work only the conversations still waiting on a reply, and Bennington pontoon web leads now parse into DealerRock automatically.
  • Internal account expense report – A new accounting report combining sales and work order history for internal accounts, filterable by date range and account, with an Excel export.
  • Unit maintenance history is back – The Maintenance section on a unit’s History tab shows the latest service by category again, the unit snapshot modal was rebuilt, and the work order history grid loads noticeably faster.
  • Smaller improvements – Work order grids show the kanban lane instead of the legacy status, a closed deal can be corrected to a consignment sale, unassigned jobs get their own tab in the warranty claim export, and copying a HIN, VIN or serial number now works the same way everywhere — including from the inventory grid, where it wasn’t available before.
