Storage & slip management software: Know what's stored where.

Whether you're managing wet slips at a marina, dry storage at a boat dealership or RV storage on your property, DealerRock gives you one place to see every space, what's in it, who it belongs to and what they're paying.

The customer and unit stay connected to the space, agreement, billing and service history that's already in DealerRock.

Built for more than one kind of storage

Slips, boat storage and RV storage all in the same system.

Marinas

Manage seasonal and long-term wet slips, dry storage and other assigned spaces. Keep the customer, boat, agreement and billing tied together.

Especially useful for marinas that also run service, parts or boat sales.

Boat dealerships

Keep customer boats organized across outdoor yards, indoor buildings, covered storage and other storage areas without managing a separate spreadsheet.

RV dealerships

Assign customer RVs to onsite storage spaces and keep the unit, customer, billing and service history together in DealerRock.

Availability

See space that's available without walking the property.

Open DealerRock and see which spaces are occupied, available or out of service. Filter by area, type and other details to find the right spot for the customer and their unit.

  • Occupied
  • Out of service

Smart assignment

View a space in this DMS to know who and what is in it.

Each assignment connects the storage space to the customer and the boat or RV stored there. Your team can see the dates, agreement, rate and other details without a second customer list.

The space stays the space. The assignment is what changes when a new customer moves in.

Space details

Track the details that matter when assigning a space.

A 22-foot boat does not fit everywhere. Neither does a 40-foot RV. Track the important details with the space so your team can find the right fit.

  • Water and electricMark which spaces have water, sewer and power–including the amperage at the pedestal.
  • Covered or uncoveredKnow which spaces are under cover before you promise one to a customer.
  • SurfaceWater, concrete, asphalt, gravel, grass or dirt.
  • Size limitsMaximum length and beam, so a 22-foot boat does not get assigned to a space that cannot take it.

Bulk setup

Have 900 spaces? Don't create them one at a time.

Large storage operations need a faster way to get set up. Create spaces in bulk from a naming pattern, preview exactly what will be created, then edit the individual spaces that need something different.

  • Building A  A-001 – A-100
  • North Yard  NY-001 – NY-250
  • Dock B  B-01 – B-50

Your property, your setup

Set up storage around the way your property is organized.

A marina thinks in docks and slips. A boat dealer thinks in buildings and yards. An RV dealer may simply have rows of numbered spaces. Each business organizes storage in a way that makes sense to the people using it.

Campgrounds

Areas hold the spaces inside them, so a slip on Dock B and a space in Building A are managed the same way without pretending they are the same thing.

Agreements & billing

Bill storage without rebuilding the charge every month.

Set up the storage agreement once and let the billing follow it. Monthly, quarterly and annual charges stay connected to the customer and the assigned space instead of living on a separate billing list.

Keep the agreement with the assignment

The agreement carries the term, the rate, the start and end dates and the space it covers. Month-to-month, seasonal and fixed-term agreements are all handled, and an agreement can renew automatically when a new season begins.

Charges that generate themselves

Pick the billing frequency and the day it bills, and DealerRock generates the charges on that schedule, prorating the first and last periods by the rule you choose. Customers can be set up on autopay so the payment happens without a phone call.

Storage isn't a separate customer

The customer storing with you is already your customer.

A boat owner may buy the boat from you, store it with you, bring it back for service and buy parts throughout the year. An RV customer may store their RV on your property and come back to the same dealership for service.

DealerRock connects those relationships, rather than leaving storage as a disconnected system.

Storage

Assigned space, agreement, recurring billing

Service

Repair orders, parts, warranty history

One customer record. One unit record. Both sides of the relationship.

Service

When the stored boat or RV needs service, it's already in DealerRock.

The customer and unit do not need to be created again. Your service team already has the same customer and unit record available when the boat or RV comes into the shop.

More than one location

Manage storage across more than one location.

Storage areas and agreements belong to a store, so dealer groups with storage at more than one location keep the spaces organized by store or marina while running the same system across the business.

Storage questions

Not seeing your question? Ask us directly.

What types of storage can DealerRock manage?

Wet slips, dry storage, dry stack, boat yards, indoor or covered buildings and RV storage areas. You organize areas the way your property is actually laid out, so a marina can work in docks and slips while a dealership works in buildings and lots.

Can I manage seasonal or annual slips?

Yes. Storage agreements can be month-to-month, seasonal or a fixed term, and assignments carry start and end dates so your team can see who has the space today and when it opens up again.

Can DealerRock handle a large number of storage spaces?

Yes. Spaces can be created in bulk from a naming pattern with a preview before anything is saved, so a yard with hundreds of numbered spaces does not have to be built one space at a time. Individual spaces can then be edited where they differ.

Is storage tied to the customer and unit?

Yes. A storage assignment connects the space to the customer and to the specific boat or RV stored there, using the same customer and unit records the rest of the dealership already works from.

Can storage charges recur automatically?

Yes. Storage agreements carry a rate and a billing frequency, and charges are generated on that schedule with proration handled by the rule you set. Agreements can also renew automatically and can be set up for autopay.

Does DealerRock handle online slip reservations?

No. Our RV and boat storage management software is focused on seasonal and long-term storage assignments, agreements, billing and the customer relationship. It is not a consumer online slip-reservation marketplace.
